If it fails
A car that was registered under another state's rules may need emissions work. A licensed test-and-repair or repair-only station you pick does that work (BAR's Auto Shop Locator helps you find one). Then our $30 smog retest applies within 30 days (how our retest works). After a battery disconnect or cleared codes, drive normally for a week or two before the retest.
