Are you a STAR-certified station?
Yes, we are a STAR-certified station.
How long is the smog certificate valid?
90 days. You also leave with the vehicle inspection report showing the result.
What happens if my car fails?
We review the inspection report together. A licensed test-and-repair or repair-only station of your choice makes the repair, and the car returns here for our $30 smog retest.
How does your $30 smog retest work?
One discounted retest for the same vehicle at the same station within 30 calendar days of the original paid, failed inspection. The retest is $21.75; if the vehicle passes, the $8.25 state certificate brings the total to $30. If it fails again, the retest is $21.75. A completed inspection that fails because readiness monitors are not ready counts as the retest. An inspection we abort costs nothing and does not use the retest; the 30-day window still applies. Additional retests and returns after 30 days are charged at posted regular prices. Repairs are not included.
Do you test diesels or older vehicles?
Please call us at (760) 975-3178 before you come in with a diesel, a 1999 or older vehicle, or anything other than a gas or hybrid car, truck, SUV or van, and we'll confirm.
